T-shirts as a jacket?

Imagine you have this lovely floral buster dress, but you can't wear it anywhere because you have "grandma arms"... fret not anymore. Because all you have to do is find a contrasting t-shirt slightly fitted but loose enough to fall well and knot the corners of the t-shirt- and voila, there you have it - a t-shirt jacket! Not only does it help give your t-shirt a new and different look but also leaves you looking stylish. But most of all, you finally get to wear that dress.

Ribbons as tie-up laces

If you own a pair of tie-ups and one unfortunate day, one of the laces tears... Not only is that an "OMG" moment but your almost immediate reflex is to chuck them out. Well, don't anymore because ribbons have another uses. Apart from being accessories for the hair and gifts, etc, they make for good tie-up laces. Replace those torn out tie-ups with ribbons that match whatever you're planning to wear and you're good to go. You can even go all out wearing two different coloured ribbons.
